86th St. Canopy, NY

Following in the footsteps of Peter Rice and Dewhurst McFarland’s work with structural glass, the 86th street all glass canopy was unique and groundbreaking glass structural design. Using a glass beam to a glass canopy was new in the industry in the late 1990s and confirmed the ability of glass to be able to act as a structural element.
