Nestled within a mixed-use neighborhood dotted with old-growth trees, the site is home to several majestic old-growth Redwoods and California Live Oak trees, giving the project a unique sense of heritage and permanence.

The design philosophy was to celebrate and elevate this authentic quality, imbuing the architectural character and public spaces of the community with the feel of an Urban Forest Retreat.  

Polished and yet rustic, approachable, and inviting, the dwelling units are wrapped around a central courtyard with an abundance of indoor-outdoor gathering spaces for small groups as well as larger celebrations and family re-unions.
