Grand Lisboa Palace was conceived as the premier entertainment destination of the Cotai Strip, developed by homegrown gaming giant SJM Holdings.

Strategically located in the Cotai district adjacent to the Macau East Asian Games Dome, the landmark integrated resort will feature three stunning structures: The 1200-key Grand Lisboa Palace Hotel; and Asia’s first ever Palazzo Versace as well as a Karl Lagerfeld luxury boutique hotel.

The expansive integrated resort of over half a million square meters includes Gaming, Retail, Banquet Halls, Michelin-star dining, Wedding pavilion, Art Galleries and Cultural hub, and a Theme Park.

It is a true representation of a fusion between the cultural quintessence of the Chinese and European architectural and artistic styles of a distinguished historical period, as well as decorative symbolism at its best.
— Dr. Ambrose So, CEO, SJM Holdings

The directors of SJM Holdings had a desire to acknowledge the richness of Western cultures that have left their imprint on the heritage of Macau, fused with a deep-rooted and emotional connection to Chinese cultural beliefs and symbolism.

The result was a carefully crafted narrative that embraced positive and auspicious symbols in Chinese culture manifested in the “Chinoiserie” decorative style.
